Dr Suzy O'Neill
I am a consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Following a period as FICM Tutor for intensive care I have been ACCS TPD and ICM HST TPD for the Northeast and North Cumbria for the last four years.I have been the RCoA representative on ICACCST since 2022. During that time I have represented ACCS on the RCoA Training, Curriculum and Assessment Committee, Recruitment Committee and LLP Maintenance and Development Group. I have also co chaired national training webinars and led ACCS Clinical Leads days.
As we move into a phase of curriculum monitoring and assurance I am looking forward to utilising the excellent working relationships between our College/Faculty teams to help further improve the learning experience for the benefit of all our trainees. And to work with ICACCST specialty and trainee representatives to priortise and act on themes identifed in national trainee and trainer surveys, develop accessible resources to support trainees and traineers and continually seek to improve the experience of users across all three portfolio platforms.

Dr Louise Young
Hello, I’m Louise - currently an ACCS CT2 Anaesthetics trainee in North West London. My career aspirations are to pursue my interest in pre hospital medicine alongside medical education. When I’m not inside a hospital you can find me out riding my bike or finding a nice coffee shop - or preferably both! I am excited to be involved on the intercollegiate committee for ACCS training and hope to develop and improve this fantastic programme for future trainees.

Dr Flora Hay
Hi there, I’m Flora, currently an ACCS CT3 Acute Medicine Trainee in South East Scotland. I have loved my first two years of ACCS training, and think it provides an excellent foundation for all ACCS trainees no matter their parent speciality! As a trainee rep for the intercollegiate committee for ACCS training, I hope to develop an interesting trainee-led teaching programme, as well as support new trainees with navigating portfolios and curricula. When not at work I love spending time trail running in the Scottish Hills with my cocker spaniel.
